We are excited to have delivered the first batch of new Steel Coolers, replacing 37 year old Weka Steel Coolers from before. Older than most of our current colleagues, these Steel Coolers represent the dedication to longevity and quality Weka Marine stands for. With an added layer of protection through a dual treatment of galvanization and hot-cure coating, we ensure these units are primed for extended service.

The Weka Steel Cooler has been a cornerstone product in our catalog for over 40 years, finding its place in numerous inland-water vessels, pumping stations, and environments demanding extreme toughness. With a remarkable 37-year tenure on these particular units, we are proud to affirm that the Steel Cooler continues to honor its promise of performance.

This image shows our colleagues Leen and Tony, next to their proud work. Leen has been an integral part of the Weka family for over 40 years. His unparalleled expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the quality of all our products, as evidenced by the 37 year old Steel Coolers that he crafted himself.

As we move in to the future, we’re delighted to see the torch being passed on to the next generation. Tony, Leen’s son-in-law, has carried over the work and tradition of excellence. It’s almost symbolic that Tony has now built the new units for the same client, replacing the coolers his father-in-law made so many years ago.
